GLOBALG.A.P. GRASP

Basic information about the GLOBALG.A.P. GRASP Standard

The GRASP (GLOBALG.A.P. Risk Assessment on Social Practices) module is used to assess social risks within primary production. It helps producers identify relevant social issues and build awareness at the farm level.

Focuses on implementing the highest social standards through the normalization of working hours, adequate wages and social benefits, and respect for workers' rights.

The result of a GRASP assessment does not affect GLOBALG.A.P. certification. It provides additional information about workers to supply chain partners.

GRASP is applicable to all types of farms - regardless of size and structure. It covers individual farmers, family farms, as well as larger cooperatives and producers with hired or subcontracted workers.

We encourage you to check out the standard's website, where you will find additional informational materials: GLOBALG.A.P. GRASP
