NURTURE Module

Basic information about NURTURE

The Nurture module as an add-on to the GLOBALG.A.P. standard was developed for producers supplying the TESCO chain of stores. It focuses mainly on the management of  plant protection products in fruit and vegetable crops and ornamental plants.

Aspects addressed in the Nurture module requirements:

  • quality management system
  • plant protection product list
  • application of plant protection products
  • residue monitoring system
  • identifiability and segregation.

The verification of the Manufacturer's compliance is the responsibility of the relevant Certification Body, as well as the main buyer of the product, which is the retail chain.

TESCO, placing strict requirements, is kept informed of the results of audits conducted and certificates issued.
