Factory Security Audit - Food Defence
About 80% of companies have weak links in the production security system (Food Defence), allowing intentional contamination of the product, which is why network standards (IFS, BRCGS, FSSC 22000) are placing increasing emphasis on the security requirements of companies and the awareness of the people working in them.
Crisis management and ensuring effective action in the event of the need for a product recall is one of the main courses of action to ensure the stable operation of a company. In the era of the current socio-economic situation, this emphasis should be even greater.
Properly planned and implemented safeguards to protect products from intentional contamination are an important part of building the company's position in the market as a trusted supplier of safe products.
To meet customer needs, we have created a program of unannounced Food Defence audits to verify the company's preparedness to protect against intentional acts that threaten product safety.
Factory security audits (Food Defence) are dedicated mainly to food processing and packaging companies.
Benefits of certification:
- Learn the true degree of safety of your company;
- After the audit, the company will receive a detailed analysis of whether and what Food Defence hazards are present in the plant;
- Ability to quickly and effectively implement measures to reduce consumer safety risks and material losses in the event of product contamination;
- Improve the safety of the company's image.
1. Contacting the Processing Standards Department
The first step is to contact the staff of the Processing Standards Department to provide the information necessary to prepare an offer. Please contact us by phone, email or fill out the contact form at Contact.
2. Offer and Signing of Contract
We present you with an individually prepared offer and the rules of cooperation with our unit. After signing the contract, we proceed to the audit planning process.
3. Audit planning
There are two variants for the implementation of the plant security audit. The first variant assumes that the audit is conducted in an unannounced form within a specified time frame. In the second variant, information about the audit is available to one designated person from the company. The choice of the variant of audit implementation depends on the will of the client.
4. Audit
Audits are carried out at the production plant with the required proportions of time devoted to the audit of the production site and the evaluation of documentation.
5. Audit Report
After the audit is completed, you will receive a report containing an analysis of the extent to which Food Defense requirements have been met, including: an analysis of the effectiveness of the security company, the speed of your employees' response to the presence of an "uninvited guest," the effectiveness of the application of internal procedures, and photo documentation of weak links.
